A wonderful start to a new series, Shaye is looking to start over after a heart breaking relationship and is on her way to Seattle when she stops in Wishing Tree for a quick break and soon is drawn into this quirky little town that loves Christmas, even in July. Army vet, Lawson has seen the world and the only place he wants now his hometown of Wishing Tree. Shaye has decided to stay for the summer , a place where she feels like she belongs and not expecting to fall in love again. Loved these characters along with the rest of quirky residents. Nothing is better than Christmas in July. I highly recommend this quick read on a lazy hot summer afternoon.
